The project established aiming to understand how Northern Gateway can be changed to promote an age-friendly community in the form of a mixed residential development. We were investigating how to develop a community by promoting social interaction between residents. This will be done by looking at residents' abilities, interests, and levels of interactivity within communities and how to foster relationships within the community.
