FINAL OUTPUT

For the Third Week, I gathered refugees' perspectives on being refugees and asylum-seekers in developed countries (read: United Kingdom). The result was disappointing as most of the refugees that were interviewed, the answer given was basically, "similar to the situation when they were back home".

THE CHANGING PICTURE OF DOCKLANDS (1981 - 84) BY LORAINE LEESON AND PETER DUNN
During the 1980s, Docklands was included in future planning by the city council. But the idea was opposed by local people as it will cause a rise in unemployment and housing crisis. The input provided by the locals was combined and translated into a series of images. For Loraine, THE ART IS DESIGNED TO REPRESENT THE COMMUNITY, NOT A REPRESENTATION ON THE COMMUNITY.
